Links between areas
Areas are linked by events, with the flight as the central fact. For example, carry-over and unserviceable status from the Maintenance area appear on the Flight Operations screens.
Events are delivered on the event processing cycle, and delivery records are kept so that nothing is lost.
Business settings
Rules that differ between customers are changed as settings, without modifying code. The targets are values that customers may require differently, such as thresholds, number of steps, and strictness of checks.
Setting changes go through a request and approval procedure.
Consolidated screens
Similar screens are consolidated into one screen with conditions, which reduces the number of screens users have to learn.
